Dog’s Day Inn offers exceptional grooming services provided by some of the best groomers in Houston. Our team of groomers can offer a full hair cut according to your instructions, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and an assortment of other grooming services.

Our groomers are trained to deal with dogs who are a little anxious while on the grooming table. However, we do want the experience to be as stress-free as possible for your dog. As a result, we offer express grooming.

For an extra $10 fee, our team will have your dog’s grooming job done within 1.5hrs. We want to keep your dog safe and happy, so we are committed to providing this service.

Training

Obedience training can have a positive impact on your dog and your bond with them. While investing in their training is likely essential to you, at Dog’s Day Inn, we understand many people don’t have the time to devote to training sessions.

This is why we offer a convenient two-week training program. During this time, your dog will stay in our boarding facility. They will receive daily one-on-one training with one of our staff members who will teach them five basic commands. These commands are: sit, stay, come, down, and heel.

When your dog graduates from the training program, our trainer will teach you the commands. Our goal is for you to be comfortable with taking over your dog’s obedience training.

The key to making your dog’s training stick is consistency! Make sure you practice their commands every day with them. We guarantee that this will help strengthen and nourish your bond with your dog.

Doggy Daycare

If your dog suffers from separation anxiety while you are at work, consider enrolling them in the doggy daycare program at Dog’s Day Inn. We will provide them with a fun and engaging day. If your dog every appears stressed, we have staff that knows how to keep them calm and engaged.

During your dog’s time at our daycare program, they will get to use our full-size swimming pool for a fun and exciting twenty-minute swim time. Because their safety is important to us, your dog will never be in or near the pool without a staff member present.

If you are a pet owner with a senior dog, ask our staff about the excellent senior swim program. This option is a great way to provide exercise for dogs with painful arthritis.

Although our staff is highly-trained, we do recommend that you discuss this program with your dog’s veterinarian before committing to it. We love each of our daycare guests, and most importantly we treat them like family!

Feline Boarding Services

In addition to dog boarding services, we have an excellent program for your feline friends. Dog’s Day Inn offers exceptional boarding facilities for cats. Each of our cat condos is positioned far away from our canine guests. As a result, your cat will not be bothered by loud barking.

Every cat suite is equipped with a fun climber that your cat can enjoy during their stay with us. During the day, our staff will provide your cat with entertaining and engaging playtime activity.
