Founded in 1990, Humble TX Pet Resort focuses on providing the best care possible for your pet. Pet care is an expanding business, and we found a growing need for excellent service for your pets.

Because they are family, your pets deserve the absolute best treatment while you’re away on your vacation. When you choose Humble TX Pet Resort, you can rest assured that your pet is on their very own vacation oasis as well.

Our Humble TX location was the very first location we founded! Because your four-legged friends deserve the best care possible, we made it our mission to do just that.

Equally essential to mention is our full-sized play yard. Exercise is especially important for your dog. Depending on the breed and size of your dog, we allot different time frames for your dogs to play. O to accommodate dogs with special needs or tolerances.

Finally, we can’t just ignore our other furry friends, cats. We provide care for them as well. Because cats are more independent, they get to stay in our luxurious kitty condos. With cat towers, stuffed mice, and the best kitty gourmet you can find, your cats will feel like the Kings and Queens they already believe they are.

Resort daycare and training

If you’re someone who is just looking for doggy daycare, you’ll be happy to know we provide that too. While we are known for our pet stay-cations, we also provide daily care for your dogs at home. Leaving your pets at home, especially brand new friends can be tricky sometimes. We certainly don’t want you to come home to a ripped couch and broken picture frames.

Our 14-day training program is perfect for those new pups you just brought home. During their training, your pet will stay in a state of the art kennel, with enough room for them to move around and get comfy while they learn how to accommodate themselves in your home. If your pet is on a special diet, we recommend that you bring their food with them to training. Otherwise, we will provide them with our food.

Your dog will have a one-on-one trainer, unique to them. They will receive uninterrupted training time every day for 14 days straight. When you bring your friend home, they’ll seem like a brand new pet.

As opposed to treat training, where your dog receives a treat upon every correct action they complete, here at our facility, we provide what’s called “on-lead” training. Utilizing a leash and collar while training your dog allows for better disciple and doesn’t let them think that when they do something right, they will get a treat.

Of course, your dog won’t constantly be training all day. They will be allowed fun playtime to get all of their energy out. 

Finally, at the end of their training, you will receive a phone call to come and pick up your pet. Their trainer will demonstrate all of the techniques they have just taught your dog, then hand them over to you and teach you how to instruct the methods to your dog as well.

Once we know that your dog is ready and able to listen to anyone who gives them a command, especially you, the owner, your dog will officially graduate from obedience school and be freed to frolic as they wish.

Furthermore, it is essential to discuss the issues your dog is having at home with their trainer when they arrive on the first day. Whether its housebreaking or behavioral issues, we are here to help you. The more we know about your pet, the better.
